A program designed to reduce recidivism and promote abstinence and initiates sobriety for attendees

Our OWI offender program is recognized among the local judicial system and is court-approved for both in state and out of state OWI offenses. We handle 1st, and 2nd, and 3rd offense OWI’s. Our program was designed to reduce recidivism and promote abstinence and initiates sobriety for many who attend. Upon being referred to the program, clients will call our facility to set up a comprehensive assessment. Clients will be assessed for substance use disorder using DSM5 clinical assessment codes and criteria. Clients will be given nationally recognized screening for defensiveness, and truthfulness.

Clients will be randomly screened for alcohol and drug abuse and counseled in the principles of sobriety and recovery found in the 12 steps of alcoholics anonymous. Urine drug screens will be 10-panel standard tests plus ETG screens to detect alcohol consumption. All program participants will be required to pass an exit urine drug screen to receive completion for the program.

Clients who score moderate to severe substance use disorder will be placed into a longer and more intense education program. This program will be more intensive and will require the client to attend support groups. Program participants will be required to pass an exit screen to receive completion for the program, and finish attending their required support groups. Clients who are unable to pass an exit screen after multiple attempts will be referred to either outpatient treatment programs or 30-day inpatient treatment programs based on their individual needs.
